The inaugural Bridge dinner allowed GPs and LPs to meet in a small, social environment

Dr. Tara Bishop, Founder and General Partner of Black Opal Ventures, attended the inaugural GP/LP matching dinner organized by The Bridge. Black Opal Ventures was selected out of 150 women-led funds to attend one of three dinners in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. "After months of zoom meetings, a live dinner with LPs was incredibly refreshing," said Dr. Bishop. The evening was a great success for managers to meet limited partners.
The Bridge aims to build the world’s largest ecosystem for Women Emerging Managers. Black Opal Ventures is an early phase venture capital fund that invests in exceptional companies at the collision of healthcare and technology.
