Eileen Tanghal Joins Defense and Security Panel at HCVC Founders Summit 2026

Earlier this month, Eileen Tanghal joined a panel at the HCVC Founder Summit,  alongside Morgan Mahlock of Cerberus, Heather Richman of BMNT, and Jim Brenner of Perkins Coie. Titled Defense: Securing the Future, the conversation brought together investors, operators, and legal experts to tackle some of the most pressing questions facing the ecosystem today.  

The conversation covered the opportunities and friction points of SBIR grants, what it takes to build an intentional defense and security startup, supply chain vulnerabilities driving demand for domestic sourcing, and how shifting attitudes toward defense sovereignty are opening new doors for American companies.
